Around here we are big fans of shoes that make a statement. Do you remember Heather’s heels from the Wine, Women & Shoes event? If you were there you probably didn’t miss them! Shoes (especially high heels) don’t have to be boring. We live in an age where we can fearlessly mix prints and patterns, and it is acceptable to wear something other than black pumps to an interview. Don’t get me wrong, a great black pump goes a long way, and there will be a blog on that later, but I believe you should always make room in your closet for a heel that can start a conversation. Enter Sofia Webster and her wonderfully colorful, patterned, structural, innovative shoe designs. She used to intern for Nicholas Kirkwood, if that tells you anything (it should). AND she’s won awards for her designs. Her latest butterfly-inspired SS14 runway collection is one of her best yet, and if you click through the slideshow and it doesn’t make you feel happy, go get that checked out. When you purchase a pair, please, please, please do not forget to buy KiiX to protect them. The thought of any of these lovely Sophia Webster heels getting messed up makes me really sad!
